商品説明

TATSUMURA’s fabric with traditional design is used for classical custom of SHUUGI-BUKURO.

文様説明

A phoenix is woven in a circular pattern with grape arabesques. The Persian style of placing animals in circles, the Chinese phoenix, and the Eastern Roman design of grape arabesques are skillfully combined to form a single composition, which is a true testament to the cultural amplitude of the Nara period. The design, color scheme, and weaving technique of this weft brocade are all excellent.
In this piece, the design of the original was reduced and the weaving method was changed to warp brocade, and the color scheme was devised to take advantage of its unique flavor.
