彩華螺鈿錦（さいからでんにしき）

アワビや夜光貝などの虹色に輝く部分を細かく切って文様上に貼る螺鈿（らでん）細工。本品は、唐草上に咲く花を、その螺鈿で表現した江戸時代の工芸品をモチーフに文様構成しました。虹色に輝く貝の様子を色箔で再現し、やさしいブラウンの地色の上に、金糸と色糸を巧みに使い分けることで、愛らしい花唐草文様が浮かび上がるように織り成しました。柄全体から輝きを感じられ、華やかさと気品が漂います。訪問着や付下げに合わせて、パーティーなどで華麗な装いをお楽しみください。
