Pattern Description

~Cloisonne brocade and navy blue visiting kimono

A fusion of antique jewelry and cloisonne. Beautiful harmony of five colors of foils.

Cloisonne brocade with its dynamic and powerful touch and the rainbow-like shimmer of five-color foils is gorgeous. The pattern, which is a reconstruction of antique jewelry into a cloisonne pattern, is impressive. The contrast between dynamism and serenity of this kimono, worn with a visiting kimono in which chrysanthemums are quietly asserting themselves with their intricate silver-colored threads, is impressive. The clear colored obiage and obijime add some color, and the platinum glittering clutch bag adds a touch of dignity. The result is a beautiful kimono that is calm, pure, and dignified.

〜Cloisonne Leaf Ei Nishiki and Deep Red Furisode

Gorgeous beauty spun by the meeting of opposites on a special day.

Cloisonné

Leaf Ei Nishiki" is a cloisonné pattern reconstructed from the design of German antique jewelry created by meticulous handwork. The bold composition is adorned with five colors of foil that radiate a luscious glow. The fusion of contradictory elements, dynamism and sophistication, gives this obi its unique beauty. I paired it with a beautiful traditional furisode (long-sleeved kimono) in a deep crimson ground that boasts flowers of the four seasons blooming in gorgeous gold and mud. The obiage, obijime, hair ornaments, and other accessories are all in red and white to express the feeling of longevity. For the finishing touches, a clutch bag with a wavy hair design, a work of Heizo Tatsumura I, is worn. The result is a gorgeous furisode style with a feast of extravagant colors and patterns. It is a classic, yet sophisticated and modern look that will bring out the beauty of a fresh woman.
