Collection: SOKO-MON NISHIKI(Warp-patterned Brocade with Design of Twin Tigers)
Among the relics excavated at Jiangling, Hubei Province, there is a siik garment which is supposed to have been made during the Warring States Period (5th to 3rd centuries B.C.) in ancient China. The patterns consist of gorgeously embroidered tigers, dragons and phoenixes.
Based on the original, our version puts emphasis on barking mottled tigers, with flying dragons and dancing phoenixes as subordinate motifs of the scene.
Its divine atmosphere and mystic splendor are presented with our weaving techniques.
