Coptic Gold Medal Design

In Egypt under the rule of the Roman Empire (the 5th-6th centuries) the early Christianity had already been deep-rooted among the people. The sect was called the Coptic Church. Its followers were not only creators of the Coptic arts but also successors of the Egyptian fine arts which had been handed down for more than 4,000 years. Here we have tried to create a new silk brocade, getting an idea from the old fabric with the pattern of Coptic gold medals made with the ancient Egyptian technique.
