Dashi-fukusa Cloth (Tea Ceremony Cloth)"HARI-NO KOHITSUJI"

　We opened the door of a cathedral, a full of sunshine coming in, through the stained-glass windows of a stone building, only my footsteps echoed in the soundless.

　In the Middle Ages Europe, a stained-glass window was not merely a decoration but to symbolize a holy light to the places for prayers. The design of this brocade consists of the lamb symbolizing Jesus, as the Son of God, and the flowing vines. We used gold threads to the halo of the lambs and the flowers, to effect as if they were coming up in the dim light at a cathedral.

　Here, the breathtaking beautiful world of brilliant colors that the stained glass produces, were made into warp-patterned brocade by our exquisite weaving technique with the classical color yarns.
