Coordinates in the Tatsumura style

~Oshima silk visiting kimono in dark tone and embroidery

The mysterious luster of the weave is like the moon floating in the dark night.

The dark tone of this kimono is a perfect match for the lustrous Oshima silk kimono woven in the shape of an ewa. The modern geometric patterns stand out, creating a mannish atmosphere. In addition, the use of accessories such as the chic sparkling smoked crystal obidome, with less color and more sparkle, makes the beauty of the embroidered three-dimensional weave stand out even more, giving it a bewitching presence in indirect lighting or moonlight at night. For your hand, a handbag that combines practicality and beauty, which will come in handy at standing parties, bars, and other venues where you are often on the move.

Product Description

Tatsumura Bijutsu Orimono's sack belts are woven with the same yarn on both the front and back, a rare and unique weaving technique called "honbukuro. It can be worn with a wide range of kimono, such as visiting kimono, tsukidake, colored kimono, komon, and plain silk.

About Tatsumura Art Textiles

■Our Commitment:
“Originality,” “Restoration,” and “Aesthetic Sensibility”—these three elements form the core philosophy of our company, passed down continuously since the founding by Heizo Tatsumura. We would like to introduce the dedication that has led us to establish the new field of “art textiles” within the world of textiles.
■History: Heizo Tatsumura, the company’s founder, established the new field of “art textiles” based on his research and
restoration of ancient textiles. We present the journey of our company, which has consistently shared the splendor of art textiles with the world to this day.
■About Heizo Tatsumura: Heizo Tatsumura, the founder, brought “innovation” to
the world of textiles. We present a glimpse of his achievements as a leading authority on restoration, who devoted himself to researching traditional textiles—such as ancient fabrics preserved at Horyuji Temple and the Shosoin—and elevated the status of textiles to the “realm of art.”

Shuu-ka-mon (Design of Embroidery Effect)

The delicate design of this obi sash, looking like made by embroidery, but this was produced by weaving technique using sick color yarns of red, green and blue, and also gold and silver foil were added. Recommended to suite to graceful ladies.
