Collection: Sai-iki Cho-to-mon Nishiki (Brocade of The Boar-head Design in the Western Regions of China)

Many silk brocades were excavated in the Astana Remains near Turpan, western China. The original design of this brocade is from one of them kept at New Delhi Museum today. The Boar-head design is also left on the wall paintings in Afrasiyab Old-castle in Samarkand, present Uzbekistan. We have arranged the vivid aspect of The Boar in this design leaving a high-toned decoration art of the Sassanian Dynasty Persia, and made into warp-pattered brocade.
