Collection: Sho-ryu Ho-ka-mon(Brocade with Design of Dragon, Treasure and Flower)

In China since ancient days, a dragon is believed to be at the highest rank amongst four sacred animals together with a phoenix, a fiery horse and a turtle. The dragon design of this brocade, standing on his hands grasping the earth with the body curving around his face, is modeled after a pattern of a fabric woven in the Ming Dynasty, China (1368 -1644 A.D.), with the arrangements of good omen designs of a collection of treasure and a peony, the king of flowers. Warp-patterned brocade of good luck was woven with our refined technique as a happy omen to bring happiness and prosperity.
