Pattern Description
Unki-mon-no-inu(Warp Brocade of the Dog and the Cloudscape Pattern)
One of the traditional patterns of the fabrics made in the Han Dynasty China (206 BC - 220 AD) was the animal and the cloudscape pattern. The design of this cloth was modeled after the pattern of the ancient fabric excavated in Turfan basin, where the trade between the East and the West flourished by the silk road.
The grace of the cloudscape pattern woven in the Gaochang ancient city era (5th - 7th centuries AD) and our original design were combined to be woven in the warp brocade.
