Patterns
Kashuu Nami-mon(Design of Waves in Collection of Poems)
This design is adapted from the collection of poems written by 36 poets which has been kept in Nishi-hongan-ji Temple in Kyoto since the Heian Period (794-1160, A.D.) that is famous of its beautiful calligraphy and sketches depicting waves and streams.
We have made SHA weave which is thin and cool fabric, of which patters are effected by patterning wefts which alternates with ground yarn.
