Description
The han-haba obi, which can be used casually as an abbreviated obi, is generally tied around yukata (light cotton kimono), tsumugi (silk pongee), kasuri (kasuri), and other garments. Tatsumura Bijutsu Orimono's han-haba obi is reversible, with a different pattern on the front and back fabrics. The length of the obi is approximately 4.0 m, which is designed to be tied in various ways, and the glimpse of the pattern on the reverse side further enhances the fashionable atmosphere.
We hope you will have such an obi on hand to make your outings in kimono even more enjoyable in a casual, easygoing manner.

MAN-MARU "miffy"("miffy" in a circle)
The pine, bamboo, and plum design and Miffy, which are well-known in Japan as representatives of good luck charms, are designed in a circular pattern. The pine tree, which is evergreen throughout the four seasons, is said to symbolize longevity; the bamboo, which grows straight up to the sky, symbolizes growth and prosperity of descendants; and the plum tree, which blooms purely in the cold weather, symbolizes vitality.
The woven representation of Miffy floats at different angles, giving it a rhythmic movement and showing its various expressions.
This delightful woven fabric seems to start a wonderful story with the lovely Miffy in her colorful costume and her friends who color her picture books.

miffy HANA-KARUTA (miffy and The Floral-Playing-Cards)
We have made a design of miffy with the floral-playing-cards, Japanese tradtional playing cards depicting flowers and trees representing each of the 12 months of a year, plus two of the traditional patterns of Japan, "the hemp leaves" meaning straight and strong. We have made a new design of miffy in a traditional Japanese atmosphere with the flowers of four seasons.
The floral-playing-cards, here, drawn zigzag to look like they are making a tiny step to give you the rhythmical and pleasant impression. Here, the flower patterns witch look like rising up and down depending on the angle you look, that became possible by our exquisite weaving technique.
Thus, we have made an elegant and attractive design of miffy strolling joyfully.
