Kisshō Kusi-mon(Brocade with Puppy Dog Design in Good Omen)
Modeled after the puppy dogs from "Kōrin Gafu", a collection of paintings by Ogata Kōrin (1658-1716), a dominant artist of the Rinpa school, this design is made composing humorous and relaxing puppies with pine, bamboo and plum, together an auspicious grouping.
A lovery and happy pattern is woven into warp-patterned brocade with our exquisite weaving technique.
