Tenpyo Roketsu Kamon (Floral Design in Batik Dyeing in Tenpyo Period)
This design is modeled after one of the masterpieces stored at Shoso-in Repository since the 8th century, which looks like made by batik dyeing but by weaving . The design consists of four-petal patterns that are placed diagonally, and bird and fish patterns placed in-between. We have made it recalling the elegance of Tenpyo period (8C, AD).
