It has been thought that a vine is a symbol of vital power as it grows wide by climbing, twining and creeping. Therefore, its design has been accepted world-wide and decorating the buildings, sculptures and artifacts by the name of "karakusa (arabesque pattern)" in China and Japan, "palmette" in Egypt and "acanthus" in Greece.
Here, by weaving the outline of the arabesque pattern in a thin yarn to bring out the beauty of its sensitiveness, and in between, Snoopy motif in a thinner yarn so as to look like a "hidden picture" for fun. We have woven the lustrous silk-fabric to bring the shade and shadow effect so that you may feel an amazement and freshness. Here, we made a new textile design of Snoopy.
