Description

Of course, it can be used during tea ceremonies, but it also serves as a stylish accent piece for your interior decor, such as a mat for an incense burner. This is an antique fukusa suitable for use in the Urasenke school of tea ceremony, among others.

Nami Usagi Yuki-wa-mon(Design of Wave, Rabbit and Snow-ring)

Porcelain designs introduced from East Asia across the sea have changed over time to reflect Japan's unique sensibilities and become unique designs.
Among them, we have arranged the blue ocean wave pattern, which wishes for eternal happiness in the waves lapping endlessly, to create a delightful design with a rabbit appearing and disappearing.
The long ears of the rabbit are said to invite good fortune, and the snowflake pattern hidden in a part of the waves signifies the spirit of the five grains.
Combined with the loveliness of the rabbit, the playful design was woven as sutra brocade.
