Product description

Tatsumura Textile's fukuro obi uses a rare weaving method called ``honbukuro,'' in which both the front and back sides are woven with the same thread. Because the front and back sides are woven in a ring shape, there are no seams at the edges of the obi, which provides an excellent fit to the body, so you can wear it comfortably without slipping even if you wear it for a long time.

*After purchase, it will take approximately one month for the obi to be made. The tailoring fee is free.
*This product requires "tailoring" after ordering. Since the obi cannot be restored to its original condition after it has been tailored, we are unable to accept ``cash on delivery'' as a payment method (orders for which ``cash on delivery'' is selected will be treated as cancelled). Thank you for your understanding.
*The obi cannot be wrapped.

Patterns

Saieikarahanamon
The design is based on the interior decoration of temples and shrines. The arabesque pattern and the arabesque pattern are woven freely across the entire length of the obi, using a rich variety of colored threads typical of Tatsumura Art Textiles, and using gold and silver thread to create a three-dimensional effect, creating a tasteful and gorgeous obi that changes in appearance depending on the angle.

The drum pattern is a large and gorgeous Chinese flower pattern, and the front pattern (belly pattern) is deliberately subdued and small, but it is expressed with multiple gold threads to express its gorgeousness. The obi gives a different impression at the front and back.

Formal kimonos such as plain colored kimono, tsuke sashimi, and homongi are suitable, but I think this colorful fukuro-obi would also look great with stylish kimono such as komon or pongee. This is an obi that you can enjoy coordinating with the wearer's personality.
