Collection: KOPUTO-NO-TORA(Tiger in the Coptic Design)

The Coptic art was formed its distinctive world from the Oriental Christian Arts flourished around the Nile River area in ancient Egypt. The pattern of this brocade is modeled after the Coptic design left in many textile fabrics made in those days. This design is consisted of a tiger placed in the center, flower and leaf patterns alternatively putting up across the tiger, and small flowers lined up in the ribbon frame. We have woven the formatted Coptic Art into warp-patterned brocade leaving the atmosphere of the Byzantine design.
