Collection: Oribe Nami Ume-bachi-mon Donsu (Damask of Plum Blossom & Wave Design)

This is a kind of damask weave with design of plum blossoms and waves, originally used for a pouch for a tea caddy (named "MATSUYA") which was owned and favored by famous samurai and master for the tea ceremony, Matsumoto Shuho in the Muromachi Period (14~16C, AD). This design has a clear pattern and a quiet atmosphere.
