Collection: Shuko Mi-zume Ryu-mon Donsu (Damask of Dragon with Three-nail Design)

The damask of this design was originally used for pouch for a tea caddy owned by Matsumoto Shuho who was a samurai and a tea master in the Muromachi period (1358~1574 AD). We made a precise examination of the original fabric kept at Nezu Museum, with their staff, and succeeded to produce a reproduction here.
