Collection: Hana-kagachi karakusa-mon (Arabesque Design of Flower and Snake)

This design is modeled after "Kyokechi" stored at Shoso-in Repository since the 8th century. Kyokechi is a tie-dyed-like weaving method. Here, we have designed flowers with leaves and snakes playing around in the garden, these are placed in arabesque pattern to remind the gracefulness in the Tenpyo period (8C, AD).
