Tori-iri Ichigo-mon(Strawberry and Bird Design)
The daisy-like pattern of this design was linked to ICHIGO, or strawberry, so the title of this design was named as captioned along with bird pattern. This design is modeled after MEIBUTSU-GIRE, or specialty cloth, which was introduced into Japan in the 17th century, of which original brocade was made in Persia.
We have made into SHA weave which is thin and cool fabric, of which patterns are effected by patterning wefts which alternate with ground wefts.
