Coordinates in the Tatsumura style

~Cradle brocade (white) and dark brown Yuuki pongee

With the loveliness of the pattern as the main character, you can be your usual "me.

Yurikago brocade is rich in fresh and bright colors such as light blue, orange, purple, and lime green. If you choose a basic color that is also familiar in western clothing for your kimono, you will be able to complete a coordination that allows you to express your own personality in a normal way. The dark brown Yuki pongee with accessories in colors that rhythmically accentuate the striking color scheme of the obi creates an elegant and lovely outfit. Although this obi is made of gold leaf, the color scheme is fresh and light, so you can enjoy it as an extension of your daily fashion by wearing it with pongees or komon for shopping or lunch.

Product Description

Tatsumura Bijutsu Orimono's sack obi is woven with the same yarn on both the front and the back in a rare and unique weaving technique called "honbukuro

".

There are no sewing seams in the obi itself, so it has an excellent fit to the body, and you can enjoy a comfortable feeling of wearing it for a long time without it shifting. It is suitable for a wide range of kimono, such as furisode, visiting kimono, tsukegaki, ikebana, colored kimono, komon, and plain silk.

It will take about three weeks to tailor the obi after purchase. There is no charge for tailoring.
*If you choose "No need (no box or wrapping)" for wrapping, the obi will be delivered in a tatoushi paper box. If you choose a paper box, the tatoushi will be attached separately. (If you don't need it, please write it in the remarks column.)

Yuri-kago Nishiki (Brocade of Cradle Design)

You will be impressed by mere sight the colorful petals which may remind you of "ayatori", cat's cradle, that you played in younger days. The rhythmical touch of this design and your memory of playing "ayatori" are combined to freshen your memory.
