Product Description

An item for tea ceremony, good for interior decoration, too.

Pattern Description

Zuikakusamonishiki
The quiver is a container for storing arrows, and the arrowhead is inserted into a box called a "hodachi" and held in place with an arrow-placement comb plate. The Hira quiver (quivering quiver) was made just before the sixth year of the reign of the Emperor (1131), and was dedicated at the time of the establishment of Wakamiya Shrine. This is a very valuable piece of brocade made in Japan with a certain date of production.
The original has a color scheme of light blue and kariyasu, but the colors have been changed and woven with the weaving technique of sutra brocade. (Reproduction not permitted)
