Ka-en-mon (Design of Banquet of Cherry Blossom Viewing)
This design of dapple pattern is commonly produced by the tie-dyed technique of printing method. Heizo Tatsumura 1st (1876~1962), however, invented the weaving technique to show an equal appearance to the tie-dyed printing method. An enjoyable atmosphere of a banquet under the cherry blossom is expressed leaving the tie-dyed printing appearance.
