Warp-patterned Brocade “Shinkan-mon”
Since the ancient times, a snake has been considered among people as the symbol of the eternal life because it grows up by the ecdyses and is the strong power of life. The snakes are depicted on the Rod of Asclepius, a deity associated with medicine and health care in the Greek mythology.
We have woven the snake design into the warp-patterned brocade of the refined quality in our exquisite weaving technique in original color scheme.
