Pattern Description

Kuwayama Kando (Stripe Design of Kuwayama)

The original fabric of this brocade was used for pouch for tea caddy. This design was loved by the master of tea ceremony like Sen-no-Rikyu (1522~1591 AD), and the design name is said to have been entitled by him.
