Loire Shokka-mon(Warp Brocade of Loire Flower Design)

Many splendorous castles were built in the beautiful riverside along the river Loire in the 11th century through the 18th century that charmed the French aristocrats. The walls and the furniture in each cas tle were gorgeously ornamented with various designs full of artistic effect. This design is originated from one of such patterns consisted of the plants placed symmetrically in the geometric flame marked off one another in the hollow shape, and was woven into warp-patterned brocade in the elegant taste with our refined technique.
