Description
This is a dehakuza used in the Omotesenke school, one of the tea ceremony schools. The beauty of the weaving technique and the patterns are outstanding in this Tatsumura-zakari Hakuza. For important tea ceremonies, please choose the appropriate dehakuza for the occasion. It is a perfect choice for the season, and it shows your sense of taste and dignity. You can also enjoy total coordination by carrying a matching pattern with sukiya-bukuro and kaishi-box. They are popular as an accompaniment to tea ceremonies and as gifts. For those who practice the tea ceremony, any number of dehaku gauzes are useful. Why not give it as a gift so that you can choose a dehakuza that matches your outfit and your taste? It can also be used as a rug for incense burners and other interior decoration.

Gyokuto Seiza Mon
According to the Chinese book of government regulations in the Chou period around 1,000 B.C., the sun, moon and stars were symbols of the nobility.
Based on the original fabric kept at the Kyoto National Museum, the main motif of the design of this piece is the hare in the moon believed to be making a miracle drug for eternal youth and immortality on the background of constellations of stars.
It is executed as a warp-patterned brocade with a refined taste and gracefulness.
