Futaezuru Botan-mon(Design of Double-vine Arabesques and Peony Flowers)

This design is modeled after a gold brocade imported into Japan probably in the 14th century, and thought as the main design among the arabesque patterns in MEIBUTSUGIRE, specialty cloth. The design varies whether it is single-vine arabesque or double, and big or small peony flowers. We have made into SHA weave which is thin and cool fabric, of which patterns are effected by patterning wefts which alternates with ground yarn.
