Description

This is a small pouch designed to hold all the accessories needed for a tea ceremony. It can be coordinated with matching fukusa and kaishi pouches. Its unique pattern also makes it a stylish choice for everyday use as a secondary bag.

We’ve crafted this with meticulous attention to detail, even in the hidden parts. If you don’t practice the tea ceremony, you can use it as a makeup pouch or an “in-bag” organizer. It’s the perfect size for keeping small items that would otherwise scatter inside your bag neatly organized.

*Features “Tatsumura Original Name” on the lining.
*Please note that the fastener may differ from the one shown in the photo.

■ Product Tips: “Sukiya Bag” Edition

Our popular “Sukiya Bag.” While originally designed as a tea ceremony accessory, it’s highly praised for its versatility beyond that purpose.

Sarasa Sei-gyu-mon(The Sacred Bull in an Exotic Design)

One of the typical textiles made in India is chintz, or the printed cotton fabric. The design of this brocade, made up of the sacred bulls in the Hindu religion and the ornamental plants, was modeled after the masterpiece of the chintz. The print was processed in the "golden-seal printing technology", i.e. depicting a design with a gold foil or a mica powder pasting onto the fabric with Japanese lacquer or starch. We have made into warp-patterened brocade, reviving the unique effect of the "golden-seal printing technology" applied to the Indian chintz, with our delicate and elegant weaving technique.
